Orchard Update
Bit by bit the orchard is being put to bed for the winter. Our thanks to all those people who donated bags of leaves to help us cover the grape vines, shrubs and perennials. They’ll be toasty warm in the coldest weather.
Deer Watch
As winter approaches, we will be trying to fill in the space under the orchard gates to prevent the mule deer from getting into the space. If you see any intruders, please let one of our committee members know.
Well-rotted Manure Needed
We have a new item for our wish list this month. If anyone has some well-rotted manure they would like to donate to the orchard, it would be much appreciated. The annual gardens planted by the students use up nutrients in the
Committee Meeting Scheduled

Walkways
Some of the pavers have been installed on the sidewalks in the orchard to make it easier for people with walkers or wheelchairs to access the site. We hope to have the remainder done once harvest is completed. Our thanks

New Donation
The giant sunflowers have “headed out” and they’re providing food for many of the birds. You may have noticed a beautiful new birdbath in the butterfly garden donated by the family of Inga and Gil Benson. It’s a great addition
